David Foster and Katharine McPhee have a magical presence, much like that of royalty. His songs are masterpieces in modern pop music history, and her voice first touched a generation when she won hearts and votes on the fifth season of American Idol. Having only been married for a couple of years, the pair hit the road this year for The Kat & Dave Show, a variety program centered around Foster’s hits and some very playful family and marital stories. The duo had a Caesars Windsor crowd clapping and laughing along for a one-night engagement last week.
Foster warmed the audience up for a few songs before McPhee came to the stage to add her voice into the mix. One of the highlights was a gorgeous medley of songs from *The Bodyguard*, focusing on tracks from the film soundtrack. This included "I Have Nothing," which Foster co-wrote and produced, and Whitney Houston's iconic rendition of "I Will Always Love You," for which Foster was a key producer on the soundtrack.
