London Comic Con 2018: Stars and Fandom Converge in Southwestern Ontario

Thousands flocked to London Comic Con at the Agriplex building at the Western Fair District this weekend (Oct. 26-28) for a few days of celebrities, fun and fantasy. The fifth annual convention is Southwestern Ontario’s largest gathering of pop culture fans.

Some of the celebrity guests included Marina Sirtis, who played Counsellor Deanna Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and James Marsters, who was Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Other celebrities on site for meet and greets, autographs and photos included Ken Shamrock (UFC Hall of Famer and WWE wrestling legend); Ted Raimi (Evil Dead, Xena: Warrior Princess); Julian Richings (Supernatural, Orphan Black, Hard Core Logo); Daniel Logan (Boba Fett from Star Wars); Dean Cundey (cinematographer on Back to the Future, Jurassic Park and Halloween); and Jyoti Amge (world’s smallest woman at two feet tall).
