Legendary Canadian icon Paul Anka brought his Anka Sings Sinatra tour to Windsor for a show at The Colosseum on Thursday, June 9 for an evening of Anka and Sinatra hits. The 80-year-old crooner was just as spry and witty as ever, prancing around the stage as if he was decades younger.
Looking fit, healthy and happy, Anka performed a set of 14 classics, opening with the 1957 chart-topper Diana. With about a 50/50 mix of originals and Sinatra tunes, he seemed at home performing all those covers of Ol' Blue Eyes' masterworks like That’s Life, Strangers In The Night, My Way and New York, New York.

Entering the show from inside the audience, Anka captivated the mostly older crowd starting with the heavyweight hit Diana right out of the box.
With 80 years under his belt and a lifetime worth of musical magic, Anka is a pure Canadian treasure who still performs as though he was in his prime. For more about Paul Anka and his latest single Farewell Angelina, visit paulanka.com.
