Country Meets Rock: Boots and Hearts Festival Unveils Star-Studded 2024 Headliners

Get ready to rock your country boots at the 2024 Boots and Hearts Music Festival, where the fusion of twang and electric riffs will set Burl’s Creek Event Grounds ablaze from August 8 to 11. This year's lineup is a sizzling hot ticket, featuring country titan Jason Aldean, the chart-topping Thomas Rhett, and the legendary rockers of Matchbox Twenty. As the festival gears up to deliver a high-octane blend of country heart and rock 'n' roll soul, fans can anticipate a weekend packed with powerhouse performances from a constellation of music's brightest stars and up-and-coming sensations from across North America.

This announcement follows a year marked by unprecedented attendance and a celebrated mix of musical genres, reinforcing the festival's reputation as a premier destination for live music enthusiasts.

The festival will commence with a Thursday night Kick-Off Party featuring the Grammy-nominated trio Midland, the multi-award-winning band Lonestar, and the 2023 Emerging Artist Showcase winner Shantaia.

The main stage on Friday will spotlight newcomers Cody Johnson, Brothers Osborne, and Megan Moroney, alongside Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA) and JUNO Award winners Jess Moskaluke and emerging artist Nate Haller. The Front Porch Stage will host performances by Chayce Beckham, Redferrin, Kalsey Kulyk, Buck Twenty, and Taylor-Rae.

Saturday's lineup promises an exciting blend of rock and country, headlined by Thomas Rhett and the Grammy-nominated rock band Matchbox Twenty, marking their only Canadian performance of the year. They will be joined by Hunter Brothers, Elyse Saunders, the previously announced rock act NEEDTOBREATHE, and others. The Front Porch Stage will feature Jackson Dean, Bryan Martin, Lauren Watkins, Texas King, and Alee.

The festival will conclude on Sunday with performances by Jason Aldean, Carly Pearce, Nate Smith, Madeline Merlo, and Alexandra Kay on the main stage. Emerson Drive will headline the Front Porch Stage for their final performance before retiring, alongside Alana Springsteen, Dillon James, Dayna Reid, and Brian John Harwood.

Brooke Dunford, Director of Talent Buying and Business Development, highlighted the festival's commitment to uniting fans through music and creating unforgettable experiences, expressing excitement over the inclusion of Matchbox Twenty in this year's lineup:

“The growing popularity of country music not only attracts a wider audience but allows an opportunity for more creativity in curating our artist lineup. It’s important to us to unite fans and create lasting memories with an experience they can’t get anywhere else. Continuing with the tradition of creating a unique experience for our fans, we are ecstatic to welcome legendary rock band Matchbox Twenty to our stage. We always strive to curate a lineup that delivers electric energy for both fans and artists, and we're confident this year's lineup will do exactly that."
