Celebrating their 25th anniversary, American rock band, Collective Soul, came to Caesars Windsor on Thursday, June 27 at 8 pm. The band was also scheduled for one other Ontario date at Roxodus Music Festival in Edenvale on July 11.
Born during the rise of grunge and alternative rock, Collective Soul helped shape and define alternative rock in the early 1990s. They burst onto the national scene with the runaway success of their debut album Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid and its mega smash hits “Shine” and “Breathe.”
With insightful songwriting and impeccable band chemistry this quintet has produced an impressive catalog of #1 hits such as "December", "The World I Know" and "Gel". Collective Soul has sold over 20 million records worldwide and continues to average over one million Spotify streams per month. They were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009 and continue to play to sold-out audiences across the globe.
Tickets for Caesars Windsor started at $28 Canadian and were available at ticketmaster.ca or the Box Office. More information about Roxodus was available at roxodus.com.
This article reflects events from 2019. The Roxodus Music Festival, mentioned herein, was unfortunately canceled shortly before its scheduled dates in July 2019. Collective Soul did perform at Caesars Windsor as planned.
