PURE Academy's 'Winter Wonderland' Captivates Sold-Out Audience at Windsor's Chrysler Theatre

Lakeshore's PURE Academy Dance Studio held their annual Christmas show “Winter Wonderland” at Windsor's Chrysler Theatre on December 18 to a sold-out audience of family, friends, and adoring fans.

The packed house was treated to 44 individual dance numbers of various forms including Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Street Dance, Lyrical, and Ballet. The performers, ranging in age from preschool to late teens, both thrilled and charmed the audience with dazzling costumes and choreographed routines. From adorable little ballerinas and Hip Hop performers to the more skilled teens and young adults, the show had a great flow to it and kept everyone entertained throughout. There were some great interludes during the program featuring the show's MC, “Buddy The Elf,” often interacting with a couple of the younger performers. One of the best of these was a street-style dance-off with two very young but very talented boys.

Kudos to the talented instructors and directors, as well as the amazing costume designers, that made this show visually delightful.

PURE Academy is a non-profit dance academy committed to teaching dance to students age 18 months to adult, with locations in Chatham, Wallaceburg, and Lakeshore.
